Locatus counts footfall through WiFi sensors. This means that we count the number of visitors walking on a street or shopping centre \u2013 anonymously. <\/em>This lets retailers, local governments, and real-estate agents know where it\u2019s busy, and where not. Our methodology complies, due to the changes mentioned above, with the AVG\/GDPR laws that are effective the 25th<\/sup> of May 2018 onwards. <\/em>You can read more about this in our Privacy Protocol for Footfall 24\/7.<\/p>\n
